Cytoplasm : The jelly-like substance present between the cell membrane and the nucleus is called the cytoplasm. It is an important component of the cell as various cell organelles such as mitochondria, ribosomes, etc. are present in it.
Protoplasm : It is entire content of a cell enclosed within the cell membrane which includes both cytoplasm and nucleus.We can also say that the cytoplasm along with the cellular organelles is called protoplasm i.e.,
Pprotoplasm = Cytoplasm + Organelles
or Protoplasm - Organelles = Cytoplasm.
