What is the difference between reflection and refraction?

Difference between reflection and refraction are:

1. In reflection light is bounced back by a surface. In refraction light travels from one medium to another and changes its path if it is incident on the interface of medium obliquely.

2. In reflection there is no change in velocity of light. In refraction velocity of light changes after refraction from one medium to another.

3. In reflection the incident angle and reflected angle are always equal. In refraction the incident angle and the angle of refraction are not always equal.

reflection is when a  light  ray hits a surface and bounces off of it whereas refraction is when light bends as it passes through one medium to another.
