the plants which depend fully on the HOST plant , for their food are called TOTALY PARACITIC PLANTS.

eg. cuscuta

The plants which make a part of thier food themselves but derive other components such as water ,minerals etc. are called PARTIAL PARACITIC PLANTS.

eg. mistletoe
