what is the difference between vaccination and injection and immunisation?
IMMUNIZATION
is the process of protecting people against harmful infections before theycome into contact with them. It does this by using the bodys own natural defence system, theimmune response. When you are immunised you are given avaccine, usually as an injection,VACCINATIONjust means having the injection. When you are vaccinated, your body producesan immune response, just as you would if you were exposed to the infection, but withouthaving the symptoms, and this builds up your resistance to that infection. If you come intocontact with that infection in the future, your immune system will respond fast enough toprevent you from developing the disease.
