One other difference between National and regional party is that, a regional party becomes a national party IF it wins election in 3 states (I'm not sure if it is 3 states, can be more than that).

the main points expected from the cbse are the points given below....you can refer it...

 

there are three major differences between a nation and a state/regional party

1.national party has influence all over the country or severals states in india...whereas the influence of state party is limited to the state or a region.

2. national party take interest for both national and internation issues whereas the state party are interested in promoting the state or the regional interest only.

3. thenational party harmonise the national as well as state interest, whereas the state party always stands for great autonomy for states
