what is the importance of chemistry in everyday life?

Chemistry is important in life, because chemistry is every where and every thing is made up of chemistry. We are made up of chemicals and things we use are made up of chemicals the paste we use to brush our teeth, soap we use to take bath, food we eat, detergents we use to wash our cloths, cleaning agents we use all involve chemicals.

Let us list some of the areas which involve chemistry in few lines.

1. Health care beauty: Medicines- pills, vaccine, diagnostic tests all involve chemistry. From the birth to death all has been possible by the service of chemistry.

All our cosmetics including beauty products involve chemistry (powder, creams, lotions, perfumes etc.)

2.Industries and transport: From cloth mills, lather factories, petro-chemical industries and refineries to metal industries- all use numerous fuels for power generation and chemicals for processing their product and improve their quality and simultaneously produce pollution. Due to pollution and over usage of burning fuels ozone depletion, global warming has paved way to destruction of planet earth. To avoid these bad effects again chemistry helps by introducing bio fuels.

3. Food security and agriculture: By the introduction of inorganic fertilizers green revolution started with increase in agricultural production. Usage of pesticides during farming, preserving grains from pests, rats mice from storage has helped a lot. Genetically modified seeds have helped in the product of crops which are efforts in bio-chemistry. At the same time preservatives in packed food products have side effects.

4. Science and technology: Development in science and technology has very high benefits but at the same time draw backs. Invention of Bombs, weapons of mass destruction all are also causes of destructive chemical reactions. But chemistry has given measures too in the form of safety suites and NBC resistant bunkers. Forensic science has helped in solving various crimes. Tele-communications, Information Technology and Space Missions- all bank on the chemistry of semi-conductors and nano-tubes.

Finally chemistry involves all the reactions involved in every object on the world and also outer space. Both good and bad are involved. It all depends on we the human beings to take it in constructive way rather than the destructive terms making world happy, cool and safe place to reside.

Chemistry is important because it resides within almost everything around us. Many products we use for cleaning are mixed chemicals that are suitable for cleaning. Foods are often flavored with artificial flavoring that are safe-to-eat chemicals. The atomic make up of an item might make it very versatile depending on needs such as durability of steel for buildings. The biochemistry inside of all living things keep life going. Almost all technology, present and future, is dependent on the chemical properties of materials. Of course, chemistry can be important for people that like to make fun or goofy experiments as well.
well if you use transportation that's run by gasoline that was made with oil and other fossil fuel based products that were combined with the help of chemistry
Chemistry is all around us. We use it in the kitchen while cooking (chemical reactions), and we even use it in when dying our hair. There are many elements that we use everyday; FLUORINE: even though it is one of the most highly reactive and aggressive elements, it keeps our teeth healthy (used in toothpaste and in tap water). NITROGEN: almost 80% of the air is made up of nitrogen. We use it to breath. Without it we would have no DNA, no proteins, or even no muscles. SILICON: silicon is in sand on the beaches, and in the window panes. Its electrical conductivity allows PC's, mobile phones, cars, TVs and cameras to work. HYDROGEN: almost absolutely everywhere. In water, us humans, plants and animals. ALUMINIUM: used in alloy rims, train carriages and even in barbecuing!
