What is the name of the process of separating Jute Fibres?

The process by which jute fibres are obtained from the stem of the plant is known as retting. These fibres can then be separated from the non-fibrous matter by hand. This process is known as stripping. After the fibres are separated, they can be spun into yarns and fabrics can be made from these yarns.
