What is the role of police, public prosecutor and judge in a case

POLICE :- an impotant role of police is to investigate any complaint about commision of a crime.

                   INVESTIGATION includes:-

                - RECORDING STATEMENTS OF WITNESSES

               - COLLECTI NG EVIDENCE

PUBLIC PROSECUTOR :- It presents the full and material facts, evidence and witnesses before the court in order to                                                   let court decide the case.

JUDGE :- 1) Conducts trial impartiaaly in the cout.

                  2) Hears all witnesses  and evidence provided by the defence and the prosecution.

                  3) Decide whether the accused is guilty or noton the basis of the evidence provided in accordance with the                       law

                  4) If the accused is convicted, then the judge pronounces the sentence
