Weedicides are some chemicals which control weeds to enter the field and compete with the crops and hence, cause a direct effect on the crop. Some common weedicides are 2,4-D, Metachlor, Nitofen.

Weedicides are certain chemicals that are used to control weeds. Some examples are 2,4 - D. These are sprayed in the fields to kill the weeds. They do not damage the crops. The weedicides are diluted with water to the extent required and sprayed in the fields with a sprayer.
