Who killed Caesar and why?

A band of conspirators which included Brutus, Cassius, Deicus Brutus and etc killed Caeser.
They killed him beacuse  they feared that he would one day become a great dictator and would remove democracy and would also make the roman his slave.

Brutus killed Caesar ...
Although, Brutus says that he had killed Caesar for the benefit of his own country rather than his own personal interest. He accuses Caesar of being over ambitious. But, his inner motive to join the conspiracy to fulfill his own personal motives of obtaining power in Rome
