 Gaius Trabonius (died 43 BC) was a military commander and politician of the late Roman republic, a trusted associate of Julius ceaser who later participated in his assassination.

Caius Trebonius , d. 43 BC, Roman politician. When tribune (55 BC) of the plebs he proposed the Lex Trebonia by which Pompey obtained Spain, Crassus obtained Syria, and Caesar obtained Gaul and Illyricum. As Caesar's protégé he became praetor (48 BC), propraetor in Spain (47), and consul (45). Notwithstanding the promise by Caesar of the province of Asia, he was a leading conspirator against his patron. He was slain in Smyrna by Dolabella.

Gaius Trebonius, (died 43 bc), Roman general and politician who had been one of Caesar's most trusted lieutenants before becoming a member of the conspiracy that resulted in Caesar's death. During his term as quaestor (financial magistrate) about 60 bc, Trebonius opposed Publius Clodius.
