first nylon
it is the first fully made synthetic fibre in 1931, it was made by using no raw materials from plants and animals but it was made from coal, water and air, it is actually stronger than a steel thread and it is very light, lustorous and durable.
now rayon
silk was discovered by china many attempts were made to make silk artificially and by the end of 19th century scientists were successful in making silk artificially. it was made by chemical treatment of woodpulp.
