Because of their shabby appearance, Luigi has some preconceptions on them and that led him to be suspicious of the boys

Luigi has become suspicious to the two boys because of the  their shabby appearance . Also boys were selling  wild strawberries which also created suspiciousness in the mind of the driver. The driver thought that they will get better strawberries from some other place.

THERE  WERE  TWO  REASONS  WHY  LUIGI , THE  DRIVER  DID  NOT  APPROVE  OF  THE BOYS . THEIR SHABBY  APPEARANCE  DISCOURAGED  HIM. THE  BOYS  WERE  SELLING  WILD  STRAWBERRIES.  LUIGI   HOPED  THAT  THEY   COULD GET  MUCH  BETTER  FRUIT  IN  VERONA .
