Why did the narrator want 2 run away 2 spent the day outdoors?did he overcome his temptation
Dear student,
The narrator was reluctant to go to school. Instead he thought of loitering somewhere else as the day looked bright and the scenes of nature were far more tempting than any lesson in French. He did not memorize his lessons on participles. Hence, he was anxious thinking that if M. Hamel asked him questions he won’t be able to answer and he would be scolded by him. Yes, Franz overcame his inner enticement and went to school.
Regards
