why didn't the bangle makers of Firozabad organize themselves in to a cooperative ?
The bangle-makers of Firozabad could not organise themselves into a cooperative owing to the vicious network on middleman and money-lenders. Moreover, any attempts at organisation by them would bee deemed illegal and they also run the risk of being imprisoned. The bangle-makers are the victims of 'apathy, greed and injustice' and their state is weakened further i n the absence of any effective leadership.
