why do the particles of gases move freely

  • 1

There are no strong intermolecular forces operating between the constituent particles of the gas because they are very loose, They have large intermolecular space between the gas particles.as a result of this the constituent particles of the gas can move freely with high speeds.

Hope this helps...!! (Please give your suggestions..)...:):D

Because intermolecular force or force cohesion is less in gas state which results in high intermolecular spaces

the particle of gases move freely because there is less intermolecular force ,less intermolecular space between them etc. so they are able to move freely
