Solar energy has a bright future in India due to the following factors:

  • Sufficient sunlight to sustain production of solar energy as the number of sunny days across a large geographical portion of country is around 300. Projected production of solar power is around 20 GW by 2020.
  • It requires less investment in infrastructure compared to other forms of energy. Thus, it is cheaper to produce.
  • It can be utilised for rural electrification and irrigation through solar powered water pumping systems.
  • It is a non-polluting source of energy.

frnd india is lucky 2 have easy acces 2 sun. There4 we have a bright future of solar energy in india.

other nations do not have acces 2 sun durng most months.....................so de have 2 depend on other sources of energy.

 India can harness a large amnt of solar energy .... becoz most of the time temp. is warm & sun is available.....  nd by the use of solar energy we can reduce the pollution to a gr8 extent... solar energy also can be used for many purposes.
