Why does Antony call the conspirators 'the master spirit of this age'? Do you think it is true? Explain briefy.

Antony calls the conspirators 'master spirits of this age' because they planned and executed the murder of Caesar successfully. Caesar was mighty and powerful but still the conspirators managed to kill him. This shows their power so Antony ironically calls them master spirits.

Antony calls the conspirators 'choice and master spirits of the age' because he feels that they are they are wise and most powerful as they killed mightiest Caesar. Using the same words he begs the conspirators to kill him also at the same place and same moment and using the same instrument. In some way it is true as they have really killed the most powerful Caesar. But here its use by Antony is somewhat ironical also as he wanted to take revenge from them, which he took also.
