why does Patol bABU WALK AWAY BEFORE HE CAN BE PAID FOR HIS ROLE ?WHAT DOES THIS REVEAL ABOUT  HIS NATURE?

Patol Babu felt that the satisfaction on completing the task successfully was more important than the remuneration received for the role. He was very much satisfied with his performance, perfection and dedication that he left after the shoot without taking the money, even though he needed the money very badly.

. I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU

Patol Babu executed his part to perfection. However, he wondered whether the immense effort he had put in to enact a small role would be appreciated by everybody or not. The film unit usually got hold of some people, made them do their parts and paid them a small amount. They were not bothered about the quality of performance.

Although Patol Babu performed a small role, he felt that taking money for it would be trivialising his performance. He was a true actor for whom creative satisfaction was foremost and not money.

Patol Babu walked away before he could be paid because for him the inner satisfaction was important than any amount of money he was going to get. Remembering his mentor's words he perfomed his part with fullest of hard work though what he had to say was just an exclamation "OH". But by performing even this role at its best gave Patol Babu an inner satisfaction which was more important for him than money.

Patol Babu is very pleased with his performance and felt he had made his mentor, Prakashi, proved. Buthe felt that the film people could never appreciate how hard he had laboured for that one shot. Theywere mechanical and even if they paid him hardly money, could that ever compensate for the greateffort he had put in. That was not befitting remuneration for such a perfect and dedicated work
