The longitudinal dimension of Gujarat ranges roughly from 69° E to 74° E whereas the dimension of Arunachal Pradesh extends from 92°E to 97° E. These two states are roughly 18 longitudes apart. As you know that earth is divided in verical lines which passes from noth plole to south pole called Longitudes.Longitudes differenciates in time zone of a region.

As you know that earth completes on rotation in 24 hours and move 360 degree (complete rotation = 360 deg) . So for completing 1 deg rotation, time taken in min = 24 * 60 / 360 which equals to 4 min.

We know that gujarat lies at 68 deg 7 east  AND  Arunachal Pradesh lies at 97 deg 25 east. The Difference between them is approx 30 deg.

So , to move 30 deg,

  Time taken = ( 30 * 4 ) min

  which is equal to  120 min.And 120 min = 2 hours.

and as we know that sun rises from east,

Therfore , sun rises 2 hrs earlier in arunachal than gujarat.
