Why had Helen the gots been helping the narratorwrite ghost stories? Why was she going on a strike? What condition did she place for providing continued help? ( A SHADY PLOT- Elsie BROWN)

asap...

Helen had been helping the narrator to write stories as she too had suffered as the narrator with the lack of ideas. Also she and other gjosts had been helping other writers as they had the exact knowledge about ghosts (which they themselves were) this helped the narrator to write realistic ghost stories.

She was on a strike as she and the other ghosts had been called and needed too often due to which they were tired.

Helen was ready to call-off the strike if the narrator promises her that he will advise as many people (especially his wife) to stop using Ouija boards.
