why have the western slopes of western ghats covered with thick forest and not the eastern slopes ?

please answer fast

Due to blowing of monsoon wind towards the land. The winds blow from sea are laden with moisture.Due to the moisture of wind , western slope cools down with increasing altitudes and results in the formation of rain clouds which brings heavy rainfall to the western slopes.
When the wind reaches the eastern slope , it shed much of their moisture and they get warmer and results in negligible amount rainfall in the eastern slope.Due to this reason western slopes of the western ghats covered with thick forest and not the eastern slopes.

The western slopes of western ghats get heavy rainfall of more than 200cm and the region is warm and wet throughout the year .so, they have thick forests. The eastern slopes are on the rainshadow region. the rainfall is therfore scanty and less growth of trees.

western slopes of western ghats are on windward side and hence recieve heavy rainfall from arabian sea branch of advancing monsoon. Hence they are covered with thick forests. But in case of eastern slopes, they lie on leeward side of the ghats and thus recieve less rainfall causing lack of vegetation as compared to the western ghats

They are on the wind ward west side and in India, the rain is brought by the south western winds. The do not allow the wind to go to their eastern side slopes. Also, there is plenty of water from arabian sea that evaporates and precipitates . Thus, the rainfall will be more than 200cm on western slopes bt less than 200cm on eastern slopes.therefore tropical evergreen forest grow there.
