Why is it easier to lift a bucket full of water under the surface of water?

Hello,

According to Archemedes principle an upward force act on the bucket by the water. So net effective weight (downward) of the bucket into the water decreases. Hence, it is easier to lift a bucket full of water under the surface of water.

When you're lifting a medium - inside that medium - there is no additional weight involved beyond the container. It's like lifting a bucket of air. Air has a mass, but you simply don't notice it because the weight of the substance in the bucket is the same as the mass outside the bucket.
