Why is magnesium (MgCl2) soluble in water but magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) insoluble?

Magnesium chloride is soluble into water but Mg(OH)2 is not because charge density on chloride ion is more than hydroxide ion so MgCl2 is more solvated than Mg(OH)2.
