BOTH 3.14 AND 22/7 ARE EQUAL .UNLESS AND UNTIL IT SPECIFIED IN THE QUESTION THAT THE PIE SHOULD BE 22/7 OR 3.14

The value of pi is:
3.14159265358979......
The value is so large that it is difficult to perform calculations using the above value. This value is approximate to 22/7 or 3.14.

cause long time ago when aryabhatta tried to mesure the perimetre of a circle of any size,  the result always used to come around 3.14 or 22/7

 Actual pi is equal to =  3.141592653589793..........

whereas 

22/7 = 3.14285714.....  therefore they are not equal.
