why is soil conservation so important? i want a brief note on it

Soil conservation are important because of various reasons:
  • 1. As soil is rich in nutrients, it is used in agriculture to provide nourishment to the developing crops or plants.
  • 2. It is used for construction purposes such as construction of buildings, roads etc.
3. Soil is essential because it contains nutrients, helps to preserve fossils, influence local landscapes, provides habitat for organisms and helps to filter water.

soil is a natural element and is very important for us as:-

1. we do agriculture and grow crops in it.

2. many small insects ang animals live in it. Eg- earthworms

soil is very important god gifted natural element in which we can perform agirculture. If we continue cut trees it will not only decease the amount of oxygen it will also harm the soil as deforestation will occur and the top soil which takes thousants of years to form will be blown by the wind. The top soil is very fertile for agricuture so now it has become very important to conserve soil as well as plant more and more trees so that they hold the soil and don't allow it to blow away leaving behind the infertile soil.

I hope this helps!! please thumzzz up!!!!!

Soil Conservation is important to the economy because soil gives up many things, like the ability to grow plants, which gives us food.  Also there are some plants, like cotton, that help us make clothing.  Without soil we would not be able to live.  Another reason is that soil also supports grass which cows, pigs, horses, and a number of other animals, gaze on.  So without soil we would not have any meat(hamburger, bacon, wings etc.) Soil supports life.  Worms live in the soil and help make the soil so fertile that farmers can grow crops.

Soil is the foundation for civilisation. Healthy soil is requisite for sustainable production of food, which allows a civilisation to exist. In fact, loss of soil fertility has been a contributing factor to every civilisation in history that has collapsed. (This is particularly frightening when one considers how we have damaged soil with modern, industrial approaches to agriculture.)

Furthermore, human nutrition ultimately comes from plants (whether one is vegetarian, omnivorous, or virtually carnivorous as traditional Arctic societies are). And plant nutrition relies on healthy soil.

Humus is a key component in healthy soil, assisting in a plant's cation exchange capacity (a fancy way of saying it helps plants take up minerals with their roots).

i think we should conserve soil because it is very important in our day to day life. soil can be conserved by the following methods :

1)Preventing soil erosion , 2)Preserving soil fertility , 3)Forests ,4)Wild Life  and many more

yes soil conservation is very much important because if we will not prevent soil then there will be no soil because of pollution and then no plants and when there is no plants then we will not get oxygen and life will not sustainable on the earth

Soil conservationis a set of management strategies for prevention ofsoilbeingerodedfrom theEarths surface or becoming chemically altered by overuse, acidification, salinizationor other chemicalsoil contamination. It is a component ofenvironmental soil science.

Decisions regarding appropriatecrop rotation, cover crops, and plantedwindbreaksare central to the ability of surface soils to retain their integrity, both with respect to erosive forces and chemical change from nutrient depletion. Crop rotation is simply the conventional alternation of crops on a given field, so that nutrient depletion is avoided from repetitive chemical uptake/deposition of single crop growth.

Soil conservation is important to us because it forms the basis for habitats and plants, which act as a source of food to both humans and animals. Soil takes years to form and the greatest threat to soil is soil erosion.

Conserving our soil is vital. The topsoil layer is very thin and it is necessary to grow the food that keeps us alive. Eroded soil can also turn clean water supplies into health risks. You can find more information

Soil conservation is important because abusing it may lead to disastrous events such as landslides. In addition to this, it is important because crops will not grow without the soil.Soil conservation is important because with the erosion of the topsoil layer, valuable nutrients are lost and crop yields diminish, which means less food is produced per acre.Soil conservation is important because with the erosion of the topsoil layer, valuable nutrients are lost and crop yields diminish, which means less food is produced per acre.
