why temperature less than absolute zero isn't possible?

Hi Arunjyoti!

Absolute zero (0K) is the temperature at which all the movements of the atoms in a substance stop. The temperature is the measure of vibrations of the atoms. As there are no vibrations beyond absolute zero, a temperature below 0K is not possible.

Cheers!!
