why vapour pressure doesnt depend upon surface area?

vapour pressure  does depend on surface area . With increase in surface area  , v.p.increases.

vapur pressure does not depend on surface area because when surface area increases, the number vapours produced from the surface also increases (as due to large area). Hence, the ratio of no: of vapours produced, to surface area remains the same, and vapour pressure remains independent of the surface area.

also, vapour pressure is an intensive property, so it will be independent of size and shape of the vessel.

i think it does depend

vapour pressure does not depend on surface area because as the surface area is large the vapours produced is also in large quantity therefore surface area and vapours ratio is same. Area is inversly
propotionalto the pressure
