I can't give 50 reasons. But I know a few.

We indians were mostly under the rule of rajputs before british invasion in north.

Most of the south parts were covered by chola, chera, pandiyan kingdoms.
These kingdoms were functioning harmonically so there was no problem between them. These kingdoms were mostly concentrated on art, literature, spritual related and many more. So these kingdoms prospered..

North indian provinces, rajputs, were not co-ordinated so there was no unity between them.

There are many small provinces in many parts india which was not capable of functioning efficiently.

The britishers were oportunist who used the situation well and covered india.

They entered india in the name of traders. The cunningly mind brilliantly got the permission to collect tax.
They brain washed the rajputs and slowly got the administration power and convinced the rulers to be pentioners (they were rulers only by name and don't possess any powers).

They forced the small provinces to follow by the instructione given by them. The provinces had to pay tax and also maintain troops of british.

Those provinces which didn't agree to their conditions were annexed and forced.

These horrible practices of british made us to bow down to them.

They were so clever. They created new rules and laws which were not favorable for indians. They imposed heavy tax and suppressed us always by famine.

These were the main reasons for the british's rule.

Hope it helps you !!

Answer continuation....

I am sorry as I couldn't give complete information in the first one.

We don't perfect government. There are many corruptions and people are not loyal in india especially when it comes to democracy. People expect their companies to encorage their talent and give high salary. People in india are very favourable to foreign companies as they fullfil their wishes.

Until each indian feels proud about his motherland, and is truthful to his own heart , we will always be slave indirectly to them..

Sorry for the inconvenience,
