synthetic fibres are used for making the following:
1. ropes
2. parachutes
3. fish nets
4. carpets
5. tents

Synthetic fibre are?man-made fibres, most of them are prepared from raw material (petroleum) called petrochemicals.?All fabrics are obtained from fibres and fibres are obtained from artificial or man-made sources.? It consists of small unit or a polymer which is made from many repeating units known as monomers. Example: rayon, nylon, polyester, etc. These fibre finds its applications in household articles like ropes, bucket, furniture, etc. Following are some of the most commonly used synthetic fibres:

Rayon
- This is a type of synthetic fibre obtained from wood pulp.
- Rayon is soft, absorbent and comfortable.
- It is easy to dye in wide range of colors.
- Rayon is mixed with cotton to make bedsheets.
- Rayon is mixed with wool to make carpets.
Nylon
- This type of synthetic fibre is obtained from coal, water and air.
- Nylon is very lustrous, easy to wash and elastic.
- It dries quickly and retains its shape.
- Nylon finds its application in seat belts of car, sleeping bags, socks, ropes, etc.
- Nylon is also used in ropes for rock climbing, making parachutes and fishing nets.
Polyester
- This type of synthetic fibre is obtained from coal, water, air and petroleum.
- Polyester is made from repeating units of chemical known as esters.
- Polyester is easy to wash and it remains wrinkle free and it is quite suitable in making dress material.
- Polyester retains its shape and remains crisp.
- Polyester is used in making ropes, nets, raincoats, jackets, etc.
Advantages
- Synthetic fibres are very durable and do not wrinkle easily
- They are elastic and can be easily stretched out
- They are strong and can sustain heavy load.
- It is soft and hence it is used in clothing material.
- It is cheaper as compared to natural fibres.
Disadvantages of synthetic fibres
- Most synthetic fibres do not absorb moisture.
- Synthetic fibre can be affected if washed using hot water.
- It catches fire easily as compared to natural fibre.

All fabrics are materials made from many fibres, which are obtained from natural or artificial sources.
Cotton is a natural fibre obtained from the cotton plant. All synthetic fibres are man-made fibres that are prepared by a number of processes using raw material of petroleum origin, called petrochemicals.
Synthetic fibres consists of many small units or monomers combine to form a larger unit called a polymer. (Pause) Polymer is a Greek word, formed by the combination of ‘poly’ which means many and ‘mer,’ which means part or unit. Thus, a polymer is made up of many repeating units called monomers.
Example
Nylon, rayon, acrylic, polyester...etc
Cotton is a form of polymer called cellulose, which is made of a large number of glucose units.
Advantages of synthetic fibres
• Synthetic fibres can be washed and dry quickly.
• They do not wrinkle easily and are very durable.
• They are less expensive when compared to natural fibres.
• They are easy to maintain
• They are readily available than natural fibres.

Synthetic?fabrics are textiles made from man-made rather than natural?fibers.?Examples of synthetic?fabrics include polyester, acrylic, nylon, rayon, acetate, spandex, lastex, orlon and Kevlar.?Synthetic?(chemically produced) fabrics are made by joining monomers into polymers, through a process called polymerization.

Synthetic fibers are used for many other purposes than making clothes such as they are used for- (i) Making the bristles of a toothbrush. (ii) Manufacturing the car seat belts. (iii) Manufacturing tents. (iv) Making fishing nets. (v) Manufacturing ropes, used for rock climbing.

1) synthetic fibre like nylon is used to make parschutes and also used for rock climbing.2)synthetic fibres like rayon is used to make bed sheets and carpets.3)symthetic fibres are also used to make umbrella.4)it is used to make dress materials. 5)acrylic fibres are used to make blankets and shawls

synthetic fibres and various type of uses for example of synthetic fibres and when it is combined with the old difference carpets are made and when it combines with the court on different bases beautiful bed sheets are made is have various type of Business and we can watch it very easily we can write very easily and also we can wear it very easily it is found in very cheap 85 and it is readily available in the market there are the various type of users that synthetic fibres have thank you
