CBSE Class 10 Maths Board Paper 2014 Solutions (Delhi)- NOW LIVE!!

The CBSE Board exams for Class 10 have begun. These exams are crucial as many students will make their career decisions basis these examinations next year. On the 3rd of March, the Mathematics paper was held and we at Meritnation decided to do a quick analysis of the exam paper ( Delhi)So, let us dig deep to understand the paper pattern  .To start with, the overall difficulty level of the paper was average. And we would rate it a 6/10.
Some Key Highlights of the Maths Class 10- Board Question Paper-2014

1. The exam paper did not seem to be very lengthy. Also one question in Set 3 was  the tricky one . All in all, it was a happy scene.

2. This time around there was more emphasis given to Algebra & Mensuration compared to topics such as Geometry, Trigonometry & Probability .  Both the units saw equal weightage in terms of marks and number of questions.

3. Questions from Trigonometry, Probability & Coordinate Geometry carried the least weightage,  both the units had 3 & 4 questions carrying 8 & 11 marks respectively.

Overall the question paper seemed to be balanced, much similar to the Sample papers issued by CBSE. The weightage of each topic was exactly the same as provided by CBSE.
