CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Board Paper Analysis 2015

Hi people!

We know all of you are quite disappointed with yesterday’s Maths board exam paper.  A lot of you complained that it was tougher than the last years’ papers. At Meritnation, we solved some of  the sets and tried to analyse the papers for you.

The paper was quite lengthy and that, we feel, might make scoring a 100 in this paper, quite challenging. However, there no questions that were out of your syllabus and there were no typing errors. All the questions in in Sets 1, 2, and 3 were same, only their numbering was different.

Questions 2, 3, 7 and 18 in Set 3 were the trickiest of the lot.

Meritnation users were in luck because questions 18, 21 and 25 were from problems that had been discussed by our experts on the Ask and Answer Forum.

The Commerce student body has Business Studies tomorrow and has begun to get alarmed, looking at the difficulty trends in the questions asked during these Board exams.

Meritnation tip:

Just revise your basics well and don’t worry about the marking scheme. Read the question paper well and try to score all the lower hanging fruits aka questions first and then move on to the tougher  looking problems. Remember, every problem has a very simple solution. The key is to find that solution without panicking.
