CBSE National Level Science Exhibition 2013 finale comes to Sikkim!

With a view to encourage, popularize and inculcate scientific temper among children, NCERT is all set to organize the 40th annual Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition in Sikkim from 11th-16th November.

Earlier this month NCERT organized the state level 10th national science exhibition centering around the theme of “Science & Society” ,at Salwan Public School in Rajendra Nagar, New Delhi .

The three day exhibition saw the participation of 524 students hailing from 262 schools from across the country & overseas. The participants put up exhibits on various sub-themes integrals to a society namely industries, natural resources and their conservation, transport and communication, information and education technology, community health and environment and Mathematical modelling.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nal Campus, Karnataka; DPS Vasant Kunj, New Delhi; La Montessori School, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh; Sri Kumaran Children’s Home Eng School, Bangalore, Karnataka were among the winning 24 schools. Meritnation extends its heartiest congratulations to the finalist participants and wishes them all the best!
