While a lot of you must be aspiring to get into one of the major universities with your decided career options, many of you might not be clear on what you exactly want to do after school. There are the major, much loved options like an engineering degree, law, medicine, the arts or commerce subjects. And then there are these other career options that are not quite typical. There are a whole lot of new subjects that have gained popularity in the recent years among parents and students. These are subjects that involve the particular non academic talents or interests that students possess.

Like fashion designing, interior designing also requires a whole lot of confidence, belief in oneself, conviction and a vision. Also, what it requires is a sense of the arts required to define various infrastructural areas.

6. Journalism
The field of journalism is not an easy one and requires immense strength of character and knowledge of world. Also, there should be the willingness to learn and get to know more and discover. Also, the idea of making oneself more aware needs to be there. People who work in this field can belong to several types of media, like electronics, print, online and infotainment.

7. Wildlife or nature conservation
Becoming an environmentalist is a very good idea for those of you who have a green thumb or are the kind who think of the effects of the human species on earth. Getting into the field might not be easy and requires a lot of knowledge about concerned species, courage and confidence and a genuine compassion for the environment.

8. Tourism and Travel
Do you like to travel to destinations and know about them in detail? Do you wish others of your kind to be able to experience the joy of traveling? If yes, then you may always become a part of the vast tourism industry in several ways.. Look within to find out what aspect of tourism and traveling attracts you and then go for it!
