What is the covalency of Al in  [AlCl(H2O)5]+2 ??????????????????

The number of ligands in the coordinate complex( i.e. [AlCl(H2O)5]+2 ) would be six altogether

i.e. Al and Cl would form a bond and the 5 water molecules would form a weak bond with Al which is the central atom. Therefore the total number of bonds would be six .......

IS THIS CORRECT !  Experts Please Clarify This ................
