hey guys I am very confused with using HCF and LCM different questions. please tell me where to use HCF and where LCM.

I have the same confusion.But I can help you with LCM.When we need to find when the multiples of two no. coincide for the first time then we use LCM.For ex- The question in our book the question 7 of ex.1.2 on pg 11

Thanks and if you get clear about the use of HCF then please do tell me. I am in a dire need of it
