Two years ago,Dilip was three times as old as his son and two years hence,twice his age willbe equal to five times that of his son. Find their present ages.

Hey akanksha this question is absoulutetly correct

Let the age of dilip's son 2yrs ago be x

then dilip's 2yrs ago age = 3x

according to question 5(x+4)= 2(3x+4)

we have 5x+20= 6x+8

6x-5x=20-8

x=12

dilip's sons present age = x+2= 12+2= 14

dilip's present age = 3x+2= 36+2= 38
