What is the formula to find Relative Density of a liquid??
I wanted to know the actual definition of Buoyant force?
experts, plz help me solve this problem
A solid of density 7000kg/m3 weighs 0.7kgf in air. It is completely immeresed in a liquid of density 500kg/m3 . Calculate :
1. volume of the solid
2. upthrust acting on it
3.apparent weigt of solid in the liquid
2) a metal cube of 5 cm edge and density 9g/cm3 is suspended by a thread so as to be completely immersed in a liquid of density 1.23g/cm3. find the tension in the string. (apparent weight)
I request you experts to post some solved numericals on the topic archimedes principle and pressure.
plz answer my questions ..........
i need there answers ryt now.......
plz
if we tke a ice and melt it........ and mix salt in it till it is a saturated solution.............. the molecules of salt will deposit in between the the molecules of water and thus volume or weight wont change ............. NOW when we will freeze the solution where will the molecules of salt go........... because the solid molecules are closely packed...????
an aeroplane mass will decrease during a flight as it uses fuel in its engine. which statement describes the speed of Aeroplane during the flight if the force from the engine remains constant?
a) the speed will increase b) the speed will decrease c) the speed will remain constant d) the speed will decrease. then increase
if we take an ice cube... melt it and mix salt in it till it is a saturated solution. The volume of water wont increase because the molecules of salt will deposit in the spaces of water molecules. .......... NOW when we will freeze it again........ where will the salt molecules go? because the molecules of water is closely packed and there is no space between them...
Why is it easier to lift a bucket full of water under the surface of water?
how can we calculate total pressure inside water at a depth
what is meant by cohesion? How is it related to properties of solid, liquid and gas?
We see big chimneys in factories from where smoke comes out. so why are they made so high?
