This is Joseph. I have a few general doubts on the lesson biomolecules. I apologise i missed the classes. i will catch up soon.
My doubts are:
What is a saccharide? What is the relation between number of carbon atoms and examples of monosacchardies (hexoses or pentoses)? what defines a monosachharide i do not understand. there are monosachharide with 4 carbon atoms and 5 carbon atoms. Please explain.

enzymes can be used for only a limited number right . then if there is more of substrate and few enzymes also are used to their maximum level of usage and their function stops ,then rate of reaction would become less . am i right ?????
