7. The machine of Fractional Distillation is approx. how many diameters? I couldn't find this info on Google.

I've some queries from chapter Coal and Petroleum. Please clear them.
1. As we know Petroleum is referred to ask Black 'Gold' but Gold's cost is too high.. and petroleum components cost is not too much high.. then except the preciousness how can it be compared with Gold?
2. Water is made of H2O i.e. 2 Atoms of Hydrogen and 1 atom of Oxygen. But they both are gas. So, how they resulted into liquid i.e. water?
3. Carbon dioxide is CO2.. where O is oxygen and C is carbon which is obtained from Charcoal. So, why don't we see Carbon in the air or the air we exhale?
4. How Petroleum is separated into different components? I know with the help of Fractional Distillation but please explain me the whole process or send a video.

If in Autorickshaw, CNG is used because it's a clean fuel, has high calorific value and don't leaves a residue after burning.. so why don't we use that in Cars, Buses, Trucks and other vehicles?
