please explain whether the Pollen Grain is haploid or diploid also provide reason for your answer.
We considered the pollen grain to be diploid in some cases that is to 2n, it is the male gametophyte.
When it comes to the female part of a flower, then the embryo sac for even considering the functional megaspore, then it is considered to be haploid, that is n, why is it so?
