## I am attaching two pics one is a solved problem (17) and the other is a solution of a problem where, power of engine is to be calculated. The question is , what is the power of an engine which can just pull a train of mass 5000quintals up an incline of 1 in 50 at the rate of 54 km/hr. The resistance due to friction is 0.8 N/quintal. Take g = 9.8m/s. My question is why mg is being multiplied by sin Theta at one place and cos theta is being used in the other. Please refer 17 and 39 (a) in the pic.

## Experts, I think there is an error in this question from Work, Power and Energy. The kinetic energy mentioned in the question is 20J but the solution is showing it as 200J. Is this an error or have I missed some step in between?
