0.5g of salt is dissolved in 25g of water . Calculate the percentage amount of salt in that solution

Given ;
Mass of solute (Salt) = 0.5g
Mass of solvent (Water) = 25g
Total mass of solution= 25g + 0.5g = 25.5g

Percentage of solute=Mass of SoluteTotal mass of solution×100                               = 0.5 g25.5 g×100                               =1.96%

Thus 1.96% of salt is present in solution.
