let the one number of the pair of positive odd numbers be x therefore other consecutive odd number is (x+2).

both the numbers are smaller than 18.

therefore $x < 18 a n d x + 2 < 18 \Rightarrow x < 16$

thus $x < 16.......... (1)$

sum of two numbers is more than 20.

$x + (x + 2) > 20 2 x + 2 > 20 2 x > 20 - 2 2 x > 18 x > \frac{18}{2} \Rightarrow x > 9$

since x is an odd number.

and $9 < x < 16$

$x \in {11, 13, 15}$ therefore $x + 2 \in {13, 15, 17}$

thus the pair of odd numbers are (11,13) , (13,15) , (15,17)
