Ecosystem is a self regulated and self sustaining and functional unit of nature consisting of a community of living beings and its physical environment, both interacting and exchanging materials between them. In garden, various communities of plants and animals interact with each other and to the physical environment. This interaction is self-regulated. Hence, garden is an ecosystem.
