18. When a resistance wire is included in a circuit, certain amount of energy is released in one minute. If the resistor wire is removed from the circuit and reinstate the same after folded it into half , what will be the change in heat? Explain.

Dear Student
Resistance of a wire is directly proportional to its length. Longer is the wire higher will be the resistance. Resistance of a wire mostly depends on the two variable of the wire; one is length and the other is its cross section. So, when you cut a wire into two exactly equal halves, the resistance will also be down to half.
Heat dissipiated is directly proportional to R

THE HEAT GENERATE IN R1 IS GREATER THAN R2 SO HEAT IN R1 IS MORE
