2 polygons are similar if their corresponding sides are in proportion......true or false. you told the answer was true but in the R.D Sharma book triangles page 4.3 it says false

Two polygons are said to be similar to each other, if

(i) their corresponding angles are equal, and

(ii) the lengths of their corresponding sides are proportional.

 

Both the conditions should occur for two polygons to be similar.
