∴ar△BXC=ar△BCY      
(1)Also, △sBXC and ABX are on the same base BX and between the same paralles BX and AC
∴ar△BXC=ar△ABX      
(2)Clearly, △sBCY and ACY are on the same base CY and between the same parallels AB and CY
∴ar△BCY=ar△ACY       
(3)From (1), (2) and (3), we getar△ABX=ar△ACY
