Concave mirrors are converging mirrors. Concave mirror converges the light rays falling on it to a point. In solar cooker, the concave mirror is so placed that the sun rays parallel to its principal axis  converge at a single point where the substance to be heated is placed. So, the reason is also CORRECT.
