4 nuclei of an element fuse together to form a heavier nucleus. if the process is accompanied by release of energy, which of the two- the parent or the daughter nucleus would have higher binding energy per nucleon?

As we know from binding energy per nucleon  and mass number curve, highest binding energy per nucleon is for Fe nucleus . So if a heavy nuclei is less then mass of Fe nucleus then  binding energy of daughter nucleus is large .
if a heavy nuclei is more then mass of Fe nucleus then  binding energy of daughter nucleus is less .
